The Banggai Cardinal is an ideal choice for smaller tanks. They are not very active and don’t require very much swimming space. The Banggai Cardinal will do best when kept in a 30 gallon tank or larger.
Banggai Cardinals are not typically aggressive towards other tank mates. They can be kept in small groups but males may harass other males.
The Banggai Cardinal may not readily take to dry pellets and flakes at first but will eat most prepared meaty foods.
