MinnFinn works as an excellent topical treatment. For both fish and inverts (corals and other inverts), If you find a wound or see some patches of fungus you don’t need to treat the whole tank. In some instances it more appropriate to treat a patch or focal lesion. Using the aquarium or pond, put a little MinnFinn in a small glass. If you have MinnFinn Max, dilute one part MF Max to 3 parts water. Take a cotton swab or small paint brush, dip into the MinnFinn and squeeze out most of the MinnFinn on the side of the glass. Remove the animal to be treated and apply the MinnFinn with the swab or brush to the affected areas. I usually just hold the fish in the net at the water surface so I can get to the affected spot. Within a day or two you should see significant healing. It has proven effective at resolving affected wounds quickly.

Instructions for Use
For each 10 gallons of water, empty one packet directly into aquarium. Repeat dose after 24 hours. Wait another 24 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water. Repeat this treatment for a second time, for a total of 4 doses. Then make a final 25% water change and add fresh activated carbon or replace filter cartridge.

Add 6 drops per pint or 12 drops per quart of bowl or aquarium water

DINO X is intended for use in saltwater aquariums only.
Recommended Dosing:

5 ml Dino X per 100 L (26 gals) of aquarium water
To prevent overdose, it is essential to calculate the exact volume of aquarium water.
For heavy infestations and outbreaks, up to 6ml Dino X per 100 L (26 gals) can be dosed.
A high-performance skimmer is recommended.
Dosage should be repeated every two days until algae are eliminated.
A general treatment period cannot be given due to many variables.
Dinoflagellates can usually be treated with ten dosages.
Other algae can be treated with about 15 doses.
Do not perform water changes during the treatment period. Resume water change schedule after one week of last Dino X dose.
Do not dose any trace elements during the treatment period. Do not dose any mineral salts, amino acids, SPS food, or Balling Light Trace B Elements
Do not use ozone or carbon during the treatment period.
Discontinue any absorbing media such as GFO and PO4 removers.
Run carbon immediately after the last Dino X dose; follow the instruction of recommended dosing.

Notes
Dino X is NOT a treatment for cyanobacteria.
When used correctly, Dino X is harmless to inverts and fish.
Dino X should always be dosed in the evening or 1 hour AFTER the main lighting has shut off.
Photosynthesis of Zooxanthellae algae is discontinued, ultimately allowing for optimal effect of Dino X Main lighting phase should be no longer than 6 hours daily.
Set skimmer to skim wet and run 24/7.
Water parameters can be adjusted with Balling Light or lime water. These do not affect Dino X’s performance.
Pre-mixed Ca, Alk, and Mg solutions should be used cautiously as these often contain additional trace elements.

Medic is a highly effective water conditioner used to de-pollute water in both marine and freshwater environments. It contains a reef-safe oxidizing agent and is particularly effective against: Marine Ich – Crytpocaryon irritans, Freshwater Ich – Ichthyophthirius, and Marine Velvet – Amyloodinium ocellatum.

How Medic Works:
Completely reef-safe, Buffered to maintain physiological pH. Does not harm invertebrates and does not harm nitrifying bacteria. Many external fish parasites have very similar life cycles. In particular, these parasites have an “attached stage (trophonts), a “matured” stage (protomonts, a “reproductive” stage (tomonts), and a “free-swimming” stage (theronts/dinospores).

Most available Products do not target the free-swimming stage of the parasite which is one of the primarily difficulties in dealing with these problems. Research with dilated protozoans has shown that the “free-swimming” stage of parasites have remarkably consistent hatching times. Our conditioner targets the trophont stage of the parasite but is also disrupting the life cycle during the “free-swimming timeframe – when the oxidative component in the conditioner is particularly effective against theronts/dinospores.

Directions:
For in tank treatment: Use one level scoop of Medic for every 190L (50 Gallons) of your system volume twice per day For serious problems use (3) level scoop for every 190L (50 Gallons) of your system volume. Add once in the morning, and once in the evening. Continue to Add for 10 days up to a maximum of 20 days.

Note: Ozone and carbon must not be used during the treatment. Protein skimmers can be run as as normal. UV filter can be used one hour after dosing. The problem may seem to disappear when white specks are no longer visible on the fish. This is merely part of the natural cycle of the parasite and you must continue adding the product for the minimum entire course (10 days). Once complete, run granular activated carbon for 2 or 3 days.
